In short: we collect only what the Service needs to work: account data, your music library, technical details and Premium payment data. We never receive your card details. Data is not sold and is shared with third parties only when the law requires it, to process a payment, or with your consent. You can have your account and data deleted by writing to support. If this translation differs from the Russian version, the Russian version prevails.
1. General provisions
1.1. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs how information that the User provides while using the Spide music service (the “Service”), meaning the Spide app for Android and the spidemusic.com website, is processed and protected.
1.2. The personal data operator is the Spide administration (the “Administration”). The legal grounds for processing are the User’s consent and the need to perform the User Agreement (Article 6 of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”).

2.2. User content: playlists, liked tracks, follows of artists and users, listening history and app settings.
2.3. Public profile: if the User makes their profile or a playlist public, their name, avatar and published playlists are visible to other users.
2.4. Payment data: the username of the account that gets Premium, the chosen plan, the amount, the order number and the payment service invoice number, the date, time and status of the payment, the Premium activation time and period, and the IP address and app or browser details at checkout. No email address is requested at checkout. The Service never receives or stores card details: they are processed by the Lava payment service on its secure payment page.
2.5. Technical data: IP address, device model, operating system and app version, browser details when visiting the website, and listening events used for personal recommendations.
2.6. Support requests: the conversation and the contact the User wrote from.
2.7. The Service does not require passport details, documents, photos or any other personal information beyond the minimum needed to work.
3. How information is used
3.1. Information is used only to:
- run the account and the Service features, and sync the library, playlists and settings;
- run social features: public profiles, follows and shared playlists;
- accept payments, connect Premium and confirm that the service was provided if a payment is disputed;
- make personal recommendations;
- contact the User, including notifications and support replies;
- analyse and improve the stability and quality of the Service;
- protect the Service from attacks and abuse.
4. Sharing with third parties
4.1. The Administration does not sell User data and does not share it with third parties, except:
- when required by law;
- when needed to fulfil obligations to the User: the Lava payment service receives the order number, the amount and the plan description with the account username, needed to process the payment and prevent fraud. If a payment is disputed or refunded, the order records are passed to the bank and the payment service;
- when the User has consented to it.
4.2. Sign-in may use Google or Telegram. These services pass only the data listed in clause 2.1 and process it under their own policies: Google — policies.google.com/privacy, Telegram — telegram.org/privacy.
4.3. The app does not use third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. On the website, Yandex Metrica runs only with the User’s consent; see section 5.
4.4. Audio content is played from open third-party sources. The Service does not host or store audio files on its own servers.
5. The spidemusic.com website, cookies and Yandex Metrica
5.1. The website can be read without an account. Like any web server, the site’s server writes the IP address, request time, page address and browser details to technical logs. The logs protect against attacks and are kept for about two weeks.
5.2. On the first visit the website shows a cookie notice. If you click “Accept”, Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service of Yandex LLC, is turned on. Metrica stores cookies in the browser and collects visit data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referrer and time on site; it also records on-page actions (Session Replay) and builds click maps. This data is used to count visits and improve the website. Yandex processes it under its privacy policy and the Metrica terms of use.
5.3. If you click “Decline”, Metrica is not loaded and no analytics cookies are stored. The website remembers your choice in the browser and uses no other cookies.
5.4. The legal ground for Metrica processing is the User’s consent. It can be withdrawn at any time: or write to support.
6. Storage and protection
6.1. Account data and user content are stored on the Service’s own servers. Email addresses and Google and Telegram IDs are stored encrypted, and data is transmitted over a secure connection (TLS).
6.2. Personal account data is available only to the User. Only data the User publishes themselves becomes public.
6.3. Data is kept while the account exists or for as long as needed for the purposes of processing. Payment records are kept for the periods required by Russian law.
6.4. The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet.
7. Disclaimer
7.1. The User understands and agrees that sending information over the internet always carries risks.
7.2. The Administration is not liable for loss, theft or disclosure of data caused by third parties or by the User, for example when sharing access to the account.
8. User rights
8.1. The User may:
- find out what data about them is processed;
- correct inaccurate data: the name and profile picture can be changed in the app settings;
- unpublish their profile or playlists;
- withdraw consent to data processing on the website;
- request deletion of the account and related data.
9. Deleting your account and data
9.1. To delete your account, write to support (MusicSpide@gmail.com or Telegram @spidelond) from the email address linked to the account, or from the Telegram account used to sign in.
9.2. The account and all related data, including technical data, are deleted within 30 days of confirming the request. Payment records are kept for the periods required by law.
10. Children
10.1. The Service is not intended for children under 13, and the Administration does not knowingly collect their data. If you learn that a child has given the Service personal data, contact support and the data will be deleted.
11. Changes to this Policy
11.1. The Administration may change this Policy. The current version is always published at spidemusic.com/en/privacy and in the app (Settings → About). The Administration announces significant changes in the app.
11.2. Continued use of the Service after changes means the User accepts the new version of the Policy.
